Sports Action Photo (SAP) was incorporated by full-time professional photographers who felt the standard of photography at events could be improved. We are multi award winning in our industry with our most recent award being the Best Sports Event Photography Business 2023 - London & South East at the Media Innovator Awards. Prior to that we won Sporting Event Photographers of the year, 2020, at the Event Photography Awards in London. The owners have a combined experience of over 20 years in the industry. We frequently expand our team and each photographer we use must meet our quality and equipment standards. We are highly focused on top professional quality images that are more polished than most of our competitors whilst always ensuring fast post-event delivery. We offer a diligent service from start to finish to keep our customers happy. We feel we offer the best value at the highest quality that is simply unrivalled on the market. We fully post edit our images for added impact and 'WOW' factor unlike some competitors on the market.

 

Using the very highest standard of sports photography equipment to raise the quality of the photographs and developing new technology to improve the level of service, S.A.P is striving to provide the customer with a better product. Our aim is to promptly deliver a larger selection of excellent photographs to our customers.

 

Photographs are uploaded to the S.A.P website as soon as possible after an event where they can be viewed, downloaded and purchased. Thanks to new technology, we aim to enable customers to view and download their images within 24 to 48 hours following the event, something that is rarely achieved by other companies.

We offer dedicated customer support to all our website users. Our system is fully automated and integrated with our print suppliers.

Event Organisers / Event Sponsors:

Depending on your event type and size we offer 3 main packages as your official photography partner.
1. "Set Fee'' (ALL PHOTO'S FREE TO PARTICIPANTS) THIS IS THE BEST PACKAGE TO GROW AND BUILD YOUR EVENT! A cost-effective fixed price model that we charge the event upon delivery of the images. Typically, if your event provides free images to its participants included within their entrance/ sign-up fee. On this model, we provide free images to all the participants and host them on our website platform in a branded event gallery. Images can be posted & shared directly to participants Social media accounts with your logo and branding on the images. This model is very helpful in marketing your event for future growth and utilising the power of social media driven by the people that entered the event. It's the best method of getting your brand/event out there to thousands of targeted people. It will also benefit your sponsors as it's a method of advertising their brand on all of the images! Some event's share the cost with major sponsors, others incorporate the cost into the sign-up fee along with t-shirts and medals etc.
 
 
2. "Commission Only'' FREE OF CHARGE to the event. (PARTICIPANTS BUY IMAGES!) There is no cost to the event organisers whatsoever. We make our living from selling the images at competitive and affordable prices directly to the competitors after the event via our website event galleries. We just need a little support with promoting our official photo gallery from the event organisers to make this model work via pre and post-event emails, a website link, e-mail shot and social media plugs to the photography gallery. (NB: Commission only Model is only suitable for events with a footfall of 350 PAX or more)
3. COMMERCIAL /  PR / MARKETING PHOTOGRAPHER HIRE: Our top senior professional photographers can be hired on a set fee for a half day or full day rate to work to a client's specific marketing photo brief. These images are often used on billboards, social media, in magazines and in the press etc for the promotion of their event. Many events we work with, like the Brighton Marathon, Castle Triathlon Series & Tough Mudder are very large event's with often over 10,000 participants. They often have several high profile event sponsors. Our expert professional photographers can deliver the 'hero type' images these events need for nationwide publicity use and to help retain and gain new lucrative sponsorship deals. We can also be hired by commercial sports brands for a commercial product or PR shoots in studio or on location. Our professional photographers are also available for hire by charities under this model. We currently work regularly with major charities, as you will see on our website and portfolio of work.
We draw upon our years of marketing experience. We have a 'Facebook' brag sized download that can contain any sponsor logos or event branding on. This provides a widespread social media presence and brand association with the images that participants use online.
RACE DIRECTOR GALLERY: We provide some marketing / promotional images to the event that contain the images an event needs in order to grow and promote their events in the future. Promo images include: (General event shots showing a busy atmosphere, posed photo's in front of sponsors flags and props, target audience images (i.e families enjoying the event) and 'hero' images using flash photography that show the true essence and character of your unique event...etc.). (NB: For larger events or events with specific marketing image requirements to a pre-defined photo brief, this may be chargeable!)
